Day 03 - Fehmarn - Vordingborg

Leaving Getmany.

Only a few kms to Puttgarden's harbour. We hopped onto the ferry and the gate closed rightbbehind us. One hour later we touched first foreign soil.
Good thing about Denmark: nicely build cycle paths and lots of winds from the back. The cities, hmmm:

"Maribo macht Dänen froh,
Deutsche mal gerad' eben so"  (:-/

However, Vordingborg, where we arrived nowband stay for the night, seems to be a nice and relaxed place. Pizza was good already as well.

Day 2 - Timmendorfer Strand - Fehmarn

Another day with another 90km ahead.

Weather is dream. Almost no winds and lots of sunshine. After starting in Tourist-Country, we had to survive some really adventurous parts. Most of today's journey took us along the Baltic seashore. Fish'n'chips were a welcome change.
Finally we took our last German bridge to the island of Fehmarn. Puttgarden is 30min away and tomorrow by miday we should be in Denmark already.

Day - 01 Hamburg - Timmendorfer Strand

First day,

Nice day! Today we finally started in Hamburg. Weather was fantastic, strong winds though. But we shouldn't complain, without we were in rain! We picked the almost only sunny spot in Germany.
Yellow fields, blue sky and, after a long ride, blue water of the Baltic Sea.
This day ended with a glas of vine on the balcony. Tomorrow: Fehmarn...

Let the tour begin...

Hi everyone!

This is Christian's and Nick's Blog about a Cycle Tour to Sweden (and beyond). My plan is to fly back from Stockholm while Christian will cycle all the way up to the North Cape.
Below a picture of our itinerary, planned so far. Maybe we also take the Göteborg-Route. Stay tuned and find out...
