Day 05 - Copenhagen - Helsingborg

Schweden!

More about that later. Firat we had time enough to have a decent look at Copenhagen. It's hard, not to fall in love with this place. Buildings of all ages get well along with each other and what fascinated me most is, that bicycles are not just accepted, but absolutely well integrated as a major ean of transportation in this city. Masses of people move on bikes and you have special bike lanes throughout the city, and traffic lights you better stick to. Hamburg's city planners: "Shame on you!!! Here you have a very good example of how it could work there, too."

We also went to Chritianshaven and found: Chritiana. Wow, what a place! Once taken by alternative people it now seems to be guarded by the Black Block against being taken back from the city officials. Wooden buildings, the smell of dope (early in the morning) and the look of the people reminded me of what the "Hafenstrasse" must have been like in the 80's. However, a cool place!
After sightseeing (yes, we took at a look at the poor, gazed meermaid) we headed up North. Again, the further you get up North, the nicer the places gädo become. The coast line North of Copenhagen is just beautifull!!
Finally: another ferry, taking us to another country: Sweden!

Helsingborg is a nice place to stay for a night, so after only 60kms we decided to stay here and relax by sight seeing for the rest of the day.
