A stunning countryside
... awaited us today. And some of it we could even see in sunlight! The cycle path "Runt Väddern" lead us along the beautiful nature along the eastern coast of the lake.
Partly we crossed a nature park straight at the shore, but at a high level so we enjoyed a great view on the lake.
After only 70kms (our aim for the following days) we arrived in Vadstena. The entire place seems to have been one big monastary. Most of the buildings are still there and are Hotels now. We stay at a place just next to the castle, seen on the last picture.
Oh, da war ich auch schon mal. Ich erinnere mich an die Burg, wenn auch nicht an den Namen des Ortes. Is echt schön dort. R.
