Day 12 - Vedstena - Ronneshytta

After waiting for the last morning shower to pass,

... we started into the Swedish countryside again. We arrived in Motala where we found: the Canal du Midi!! Well, quite a good copy of it. It's called the Göta Canal which has been named "The Swedish construction of the Millenium". Built in the 19th century, it's still quite impressive. The part we saw had "only" four stages in a row, but there are parts that have many more.

We decided from now on to follow the "Sverigeleden" (dt: schwieriger Radweg) up to Borlänge. From there Nick will catch a train/ bus / helicopter/... whatever takes him to Stockhoom on Tuesday.

So far it lead us through Sweden's inner part, have a look at the pictures. Facing a little dizzle rain, we had a break under the trees, tasting crackers with yummy ÄdelOst!  (:-D

After arriving at our B&B, we had a superb meal and the best wine we had in Sweden, so far.
